WWE Friday Night Smackdown, July 21, Amway Center

Amway Center is the home court of the Orlando Magic and has been the spot where some of the best concerts in town are held and on Friday, July 21 from 7:45 to 11:45 it is the site of WWE Friday Night Smackdown! Watch the biggest names in the wrestling biz show off their best moves in order to win the big belt while you sit comfortably sipping cold beers and cheering them on! If you haven’t ever seen a live WWE event before your Orlando vacation is the perfect time to do so and if you are a big fan, this is your chance to see the Brawling Brutes, Charlotte Flair, and so many other favorites do their best smackdowns!

Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, July 27 – November 18, 200 Epcot Center Drive

The best vacations involve exciting adventures and delicious food and the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival celebrates summer and fall with a taste of international delicacies! Eat your way around the world with this tasty event, offering everything from African to Sushi and pretty much anything in between, including French, German, and Moroccan! Also offers the opportunity to explore different cultures around the world, 11 in total, even as we mentioned there is more to Orlando than Disney, and this Epcot festival is one that shouldn’t be missed.

Car & Truck Show, August 13, and Show Car Saturday Nights, The Promenade at Sunset Walk

There is always something going on at the Promenade at Sunset Walk, and car lovers will love Show Car Saturday Nights AND this fun event, the Car & Truck Show! Offering cars from all eras at the Car & Truck show and vintage cars from 1987 and older on the Saturday night shows, the colorful cars are well maintained and the music accompanying the blast from the past will keep your toes tapping. Stop in for dinner during the Saturday night events at any of the delicious restaurants that line the Promenade or grab a yummy lunch after the show; the Car & Truck Show lasts from 11 AM through 2 PM.

Florida Wedding Expo: Orlando, August 13, Orange County Convention Center

Say yes to everything wedding with a visit to the Florida Wedding Expo and gather ideas for your very special day! Even if you aren’t getting married in Orlando (although we are a very popular destination wedding location!) over 150 vendors are offering tons of free giveaways, including honeymoons for 5 lucky couples! Also offering gourmet food and dessert tastings, fashion shows, live entertainment, and interactive exhibits, the “party” begins at noon and lasts until 5 PM.

Orlando Urban Film Festival 10th Anniversary, September 2, 445 S Magnolia Avenue

Labor Day Weekend can be a bittersweet event, signifying the end of summer and all its carefree vibes, but the Orlando Urban Film Festival, celebrating its 10th year in town, can help soothe the sting of saying so long to the season! Celebrating Hollywood, the stars, the glamour, and everything movies, it is the only African film festival in Orlando. Also recognizing tomorrow’s superstars, tickets cost $50 and the movies you will see will fascinate and entertain!
